Here are some FPPS's frequently asked questions
The Faculty of Education and Sport Studies (FPPS), Universiti Malaysia Sabah, is a centre of excellence for producing competent educators, researchers, and professionals in the fields of education and sport sciences. The faculty offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, research opportunities, and community engagement initiatives to contribute to the advancement of education and sports in Malaysia and beyond.
The Faculty of Education and Sport Studies (FPPS), Universiti Malaysia Sabah, offers the following undergraduate degree programmes:

Applicants must meet at least one of the following requirements, depending on the programme applied:

STPM: Minimum CGPA of 2.00–2.50 (programme-specific). For History, applicants must have at least Grade C in History and Geography. For TESL, applicants must have at least CGPA 2.50 and Grade B in English (SPM).

STAM: At least Jayyid (Good) grade.

Matriculation/Foundation: Minimum CGPA of 2.00–2.50.

Diploma: Relevant Diploma recognised by the UMS Senate with minimum CGPA of 2.50–3.00.

Other Qualifications: SKM/DKM/DLKM/DVM with minimum CGPA 2.50; APEL (A) Level 6 with minimum 3 years’ work experience (aged 21 and above); or Pre-University Certificate from Sekolah Sukan Malaysia (for Sports Science & TESL).

MUET Requirement: TESL – Band 4.0 (from Session 1/2021 onwards) or Band 4 (2020 and earlier). Other programmes – Band 2.0.

Additional Assessments: TESL and Sports Science applicants must pass the MEdSI test and/or interview/physical test.

Applicants must not have physical/limb disabilities that hinder practical work.
