This programme focuses mainly on sustainable forest management. Students will learn how to manage the tropical forest in a sustainable way and courses taught are such as forest planning and
management, forest ecology, forest economics, current issues in topical forestry and policy on tropical forestry.
NATURE PARKS AND
RECREATION
This programme emphasizes on producing graduates, who are equipped with the expertise in Science and Management of nature parks and recreational activities.
FOREST PLANTATION AND AGROFORESTRY
This programme focuses on the education and training of plantation management and agro forestry science. This programme also emphasizes on community forestry.
WOOD TECHNOLOGY AND
INDUSTRY
This programme emphasizes on the management of the wood-based industry and development of new products from wood fiber and non-wood fiber resources.
CONSERVATION BIOLOGY
This programme aims to produce graduates who are knowledgeable and capable in leading the conservation and preservation of natural resources, and sustainable environmental management. Students are exposed to the various biological disciplines that are pillars to conservation efforts, linking theory and practical aspects, to ensure graduates of the program remain relevant to industry and future-proof, on their journey to becoming environmental stewards.
