JFPIB may submit a new application for the laboratory instrument which is intended to be maintained under PIPS-central maintenance in writing which meets the following criteria:
1. Laboratory Instruments are used for Teaching and Learning purposes in Laboratories
2. Optimum usage of instruments (Instrument usage book logs for the latest 3-6 months are to be attached)
3. Laboratory instruments are not limited for the usage of FPIB owners.

An Entry meeting is an opening meeting before the maintenance work is initiated. The purpose of this meeting is to ensure that the JFPIU involved is aware of the maintenance work to be implemented at the JFPIU.
