TUESDAY, 14 APRIL – More than 150 participants attended the International Conference on Natural Resources, Tourism and Services Management organised by the Faculty of Business, Economy and Accounting (FPEP) Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) held in Kota Kinabalu.
The conference organised in collaboration with Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) also included participants from Japan, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Australia and Indonesia.
The three-day conference, which started today featured experienced presenters in the field of tourism industry and services to the participants, and was also attended by representatives of higher education institutions across the country.
The ceremony was held this morning and officiated by the Board Member of Tourism Malaysia and Chairman of Sabah Parks, Dato’ Seri Tengku Dr. Zainal Adlin Tengku Mahamood.
Also present were UMS Vice-Chancellor, Professor Datuk Dr. Mohd Harun Abdullah and FPEP Dean, Associate Professor Dr. Rasid Mail. – SS (fl)
