    Client Charter

    CLIENT CHARTER

    The following is the Client Charter of
    Universiti Malaysia Sabah

    Teaching & Learning

    Issue university Letter of Offer to successful applicants on the UMS Application Status Check website within three (3) working days after announcement by the Higher Education Department.

    *Bahagian Perkhidmatan Akademik

    Ensure letter of result of viva-voce is issued on the same day that viva-voce is conducted. 



    *Pusat Pengajian Pascasiswazah

    Research & Innovation Commercialisation 

    Notify applicants of the outcome of their Research Grant application within five (5) working days. 

    *Pusat Pengurusan Penyelidikan

    Internasionalisation 

    Issue university Letter of Offer for undergraduate students within ten (10) days after complete aplication received from candidate.

    *Pusat Pengantarabangsaan & Penglibatan Global

    Publication 

    Publish books within six (6) months from date received for complete manuscript.

    Publish journals within three (3) months from date received from Editorial.

    *Penerbit UMS

    Service Delivery System

    Issue Letter of Interview within seven (7) working days before date of interview.

    Issue Letter of Appointment within seven (7) working days after receiving Extract of Minutes from the Appointing Authority.

    *Bahagian Sumber Manusia, Jabatan Pendaftar

    Ensure policies, regulations and circulars are disseminated to university staff and students within 14 working days after endorsement by University Board of Management (LPU).

    *Bahagian Pentadbiran & Governan, Jabatan Pendaftar

    Process payment for suppliers or stafs within 14 working days after obtaining complete information.


    *Jabatan Bendahari

    Ensure client feedback is attended to within seven (7) working days after obtaining complete information.

    *Pusat Jaminan Kualiti

    Process and approve applications for welfare assistance/aid within seven (7) working days.

    *Jabatan Hal Ehwal Pelajar

    Coordinate and ensure any complaints regard to students residential facilities is attended to within seven (7) working days.

    *Pusat Pengurusan NR dan Fasiliti Perumahan Pelajar

    Ensure the result of sample analysis work for samples not exceed 20 is completed within 14 working days.

    *Pusat Instrumentasi & Perkhidmatan Sains
