The Young Entrepreneurs Scheme (YES) is an innovative global competition developed to raise awareness among postgraduate students, postdoctoral and early career researchers on how ideas from science and engineering can be commercialised. YES is running for the 26th year, and is one of the oldest and most prestigious programme of its kind in the United Kingdom. ASTI is proud to organise YES in Malaysia this year with University of Nottingham.

PhD students and postdoctoral researchers from any university based in Malaysia can participate. Participants will be competing directly with researchers from other universities in Malaysia. The competition is open to participants from Biological Science (Plant and Biomedical) and Physical Science (Fintech and Engineering) streams. Training and mentorship worth RM4,500 will be provided as scholarship to shortlisted teams. Prizes worth RM7,500 await winners!

Swiss Innovation Challenge ASEAN (SIC ASEAN) 2021/2022 Roadshow (.pdf)

The Faculty of Entrepreneurship & Business, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) in collaboration with the University of Applied Science and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), DRB-HICOM University of Automotive Malaysia, Putra Business School (PBS) and the Management & Science University (MSU) will be organizing the SWISS INNOVATION CHALLENGE ASEAN (ASEAN SIC) 2021/2022 online.

The Career and Student Entrepreneurship Development Centre (PKPKP) Universiti Malaysia Sabah would like to invite all JAFPIB to participate in this competition.
