Datuk Jame and Tan Sri Henry Discuss Conference Theme

Forum Tema PersidanganTHURSDAY, 19 JUNE – The Kinabalu Management and Professional Conference was successfully held and entered its third edition this year, graced by renowned national figures and experienced panellists in the forums held.

Themed ‘Memperteguh Ketahanan Modal Insan, Memperkasa Tadbir Urus (Strengthening Human Capital Resilience, Intensifying Governance), the conference organised by the Management and Professional Officers (Non-academic) Association of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) was participated by more than 200 participants.

Among the highlights was the forum which explored selected themes chosen for this conference.

Two members of the panel featured were the Director of the State Education Department, Datuk Jame Alip and UMS Member of the Board, Tan Sri Henry Chin Poy-Wu.

In short, Datuk Jame summarised that an organisation with an exceptional governance system needed to have incredible human capital.

He said a firm and extraordinary human capital should be knowledgeable and confident as well as creative and innovative besides constantly striving to improve their capability thus able to implement an efficient system of governance.

For Tan Sri Henry Chin, he upheld superior moral as the highest aspect in strengthening human capital and governance.

He said the management of an organisation will be more effective if its human capital were knowledgeable and expert complete with good moral values and integrity.
