Yayasan Penyelidikan Antartika Sultan Mizan (YPASM) would like to call for proposals (Research Grant, Fellowship Scheme and Berth Support to Antarctica) under the Smart Partnership Initiative.

The call for proposals only open to Malaysian researchers / scientists from eight (8) participating Smart Partnership Initiative universities namely, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), International Medical University (IMU), Universiti Malaya (UM), Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT).

Please refer to the attached poster and YPASM website (www.ypasm.my)  to know more about the initiative and how to apply.

Kindly submit your proposals to PPPI before 28 February 2020 (Friday).

On behalf of the British High Commission (BHC) Kuala Lumpur, the Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM) is pleased to share the call for the Newton International Fellowships Scheme 2020 delivered by the British Academy.

The Newton International Fellowships enable researchers to work for two (2) years at a UK institution with the aim of fostering long-term international collaborations. The Scheme aims to attract the most promising early career postdoctoral researchers from outside the UK in the fields of natural sciences, physical sciences, medical sciences, social sciences and the humanities. This Fellowships Scheme is delivered by the British Academy, Academy of Medical Sciences and the Royal Society, funded through the Newton Fund.

Please note that the application deadline is 26 March 2020 (3pm UK time) and the results are expected to be announced in September 2020.
