Centre for Research and Innovation (PPI) was formally established in June 2002. It was then known as Research and Conference Unit.
VISION
PPI is committed to providing efficient services and quality management of research activities, conferences and innovation by prioritising customer satisfaction based on work rules and prescribed procedures to achieve the University’s vision to be an innovative University with world-class standard.
MISSION
Strive to achieve academic excellence in various fields to achieve international recognition through teaching and learning, research, conferences, publications, community service and a balanced specialisation of knowledge and students personality to produce high productivity and quality in the context of environment, and national and community development.
OBJECTIVES
In short, PPI has set several objectives, namely:
· To create a culture of knowledge in academic circles through research, conference and innovation.
· To uplift the University through participation by academic staff in conferences and exhibitions at national and international levels: and
· Establishing cooperation through research and sharing of academic expertise until international level.
CLIENTS’ CHARTER
Research
Processing advances / expenses claims / LPO / research assistant appointment / research application / request for additional time within 7 days from date of receipt.
Conference
Processing applications and attend conferences within 7 days of receipt.
