About Us
PPST was established on 25th January 2010. As the beginning this centre was placed under School of Science and Technology as a Science Foundation Programme. This centre aims to equip students with a strong basic and interest in the science field in order for them to further their studies at degree level in UMS.
Introduction
This science foundation programme is purposely set up to produce students with strong basic science knowledge to be absorbed into the science study program in UMS. Other than that, this programme provides an opportunity to those candidates who wish to pursue their studies at degree level through the Ministry main channel which is UPU. The structure of the Foundation Science programme has met the approval and required science skills that matches the programme provided by schools at UMS.
Vision
The Preparatory Centre for Science and Technology strives to become an excellence centre for graduate programme based on learning and teaching based on the combination of theoretical and practical studies for the sustainable development of science and technology.
Mision
Preparatory Centre for Science and Technology is dedicated in preparing the students for the graduate programme through the excellent process of learning and teaching while sowing the pure values in the academic excellence and ethical responsibility.
