Effective October 2025, the implementation of mandatory EPF contributions for non-Malaysian citizen employees will take effect, beginning with salaries for the month of October 2025, in line with the announcement made by the Employees Provident Fund (EPF).

Accordingly, employers are responsible for ensuring that all non-Malaysian employees with valid work permits contribute to the EPF in compliance with the relevant legal provisions.
