The Institut Marin Borneo (IMB), one of the well-established institutes of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), is pleased to announce the upcoming International Conference on Marine Science and Aquaculture (ICOMSA) 2026, taking place from 27-29th October 2026 in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.
Carrying the theme “Ocean Resilience for Planetary Health”, ICOMSA 2026 places the spotlight on the critical connection between healthy ocean ecosystems and sustainable aquaculture practices, both of which play an important role in supporting food security, coastal livelihoods, and economic growth. In an era of increasing climate stress and resource pressure, this conference brings marine and aquaculture sciences together to share evidence-based research, technological innovation, and practical approaches for long-term sustainability.
Researchers, academicians, professionals, industry practitioners, and students are warmly invited to present their original research, engage in meaningful discussions, and build interdisciplinary collaboration and professional networks.
