Programme Overview
This program aims to nurture innovative and responsible business executives specializing in marketing to support the nation’s aspiration of making Malaysia a global business hub. Students will be exposed to theoretical and practical learning beyond the lecture room environment in producing a holistic business graduate with high marketing skills, in particular. This is achieved through the offering of various aspects of knowledge in the field of business considered crucial to the marketing discipline. The areas of expertise include management and marketing such as financial, accounting, market, sales, promotion, product, human resources, cross-culture, and international business. The offering of the program is also aimed at producing competitive and excellent graduates at both domestic and global levels. Graduates of this program have the opportunity to be involved in global, multi-national, and local organizations as well as non-governmental and non-profit organizations to contribute to the marketing field. Graduates can be employed in any marketing-related areas such as marketing planning, sales management, brand management, product and advertising management, retail management, public relations and publicity, services management, as well as marketing research and analytics.

Fulfils the University General Requirements

Obtain at least a Grade C in ONE (1) subject at the STPM level: Business Studies/Economics

Obtain at least a Grade E in ONE (1) subject at the SPM level: Mathematics.

Obtain at least BAND 3.0 for results obtained starting from Session 1 of the year 2021, or BAND 3 for results from 2020 and before in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET), within the validity period at the time of application.

Fulfils the University General Requirements

Obtain at least a Grade C in ONE (1) subject at the Matriculation level: Economics / Principles of Economics / Business Management.

Obtain at least a Grade E in ONE (1) subject at the SPM level: Mathematics.

Obtained at least BAND 3.0 for results obtained starting from Session 1 of the year 2021, or BAND 3 for results from 2020 and before in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET), valid as of the application date.

Fulfils the University General Requirements

Possess a Diploma related to the field from an educational institution recognized by the Senate of Universiti Malaysia Sabah.

Obtain at least a Grade E in Mathematics at the SPM level.

Obtained at least Band 3.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations starting from Session 1 of the year 2021 or Band 3 for examinations up to the year 2020, valid as of the application date.

Fulfils the University General Requirements

Obtain at least a Grade C (CGPA 2.00) at the Pre-University level of Sekolah Sukan Malaysia (SSM) in any of the following subjects: Business Studies/Economics

Obtain at least a Grade E in Mathematics at the SPM level.

Obtained at least Band 3.0 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) for examinations starting from Session 1 of the year 2021 or Band 3 for examinations up to the year 2020, valid as of the application date.
Higher Certificate of Education (STPM) or GCE ‘A’ Level or equivalent:
- A pass in GCE ‘O’ Level or its equivalent;
- A pass in the STPM, GCE ‘A’ Level, or Higher School Certificate (HSC), or its equivalent with at least grade C in any THREE (03) subjects;
- A pass in Cambridge International Examination Test with at least grade B; or
- Exceptions for English-speaking countries as stated in the MQA qualifications; or
- Exceptions for schools/institutes/colleges that use English as the official language for learning and teaching.
- A Diploma or its equivalent recognized by the Malaysian government and the University Senate with a CGPA of at least 3.00;
- A pass in the Cambridge International Examination Test with at least grade B; or
- Exceptions for English-speaking countries, as stated in the MQA qualifications; or
- Exceptions for schools/institutes/colleges that use English as the official language for learning and teaching.
