Message From The Dean

Sekolah Perniagaan dan Kewangan Antarabangsa Labuan (SPKAL) strives to become a centre for higher learning with a global perspective. SPKAL programs and research focus on five main business disciplines: International Finance, International and Offshore Banking, International Marketing, International Financial Economics, and Islamic Finance.

Through the integration of conceptual, technical, and communication skills in the delivery of quality education, the School aims to prepare, educate, and develop young minds to become future global business leaders who would be able to navigate the world of tomorrow.

In terms of research facilities, SPKAL boasts three computer laboratories, made possible by Islamic Development Bank funding.  The fully equipped labs are: The Advertising & Information Lab, Investment Lab, and Advanced Research Lab.

We hope that you will relish the opportunity to study at our School.  We look forward to helping you achieve your educational and career goals.

 

 


 

About Us:

Sekolah Perniagaan dan Kewangan Antarabangsa Labuan (SPKAL), also known as Labuan School of International Business and Finance (LSIBF) started its operation in May 1999 with an intake of 356 students. SPKAL offerings five programmes in the fields of International Finance, International and Offshore Banking, International Marketing, International Financial Economics and Islamic Finance.

Vision

Sekolah Perniagaan dan Kewangan Antarabangsa Labuan strives to become a centre for higher educational learning with global perspectives, which reflects Labuan as an International Financial Centre.

Mission

Sekolah Perniagaan dan Kewangan Antarabangsa Labuan intends to produce educated human resource in the field of international business and finance management equipped with information and multimedia technology so as to fulfill the requirement of workforce which has competitive ability in international arena through the integration of conceptual, technical, human and communication skills.

Objectives

  1. To generate knowledge in business and finance with global perspectives through teaching, researching and publication.
  2. To provide comprehensive education through the integration of conceptual, technical, human and communication skills.
  3. To produce educated and well-trained workforce in the fields of international business and finance complimented with multimedia skills.
  4. To produce human resource who are able to contribute to the nation’s development and have competitive capability in the international arena.
