The counter operates from 8.30 am until 5.00 pm, and will end tomorrow after opening for four days.
UMS Media, when making its survey found that there were still many employees who have not met up with the counter staff to discuss on their repayments.
PTPTN counter spokesperson said, those who failed to do so could face action from the employer.
It is in line with the instruction by the Chief Secretary to the Government of Malaysia, Tan Sri Dr. Ali Hamsa, which was published in major newspapers on 18 June 2015 where civil servants were called to service their PTPTN loans through salary deductions.
As such, those affected are reminded to take the time tomorrow to negotiate the repayment of their loans at the counter. – (fl)
