TUESDAY, 17 JUNE – A total of 25 Sandakan Community College students made a study visit to Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Labuan International Campus (UMSKAL) recently.The delegation was warmly welcomed by the Head of the Administration Division of the campus, Taufek Latip.
He said the administration of UMSKAL always welcome visitors from within and outside of the country.
He added that the visit would surely help strengthen ties between the two sides, especially those involving community college students and UMS Labuan students.
Besides UMS Labuan, the delegation from the college led by the Head of Tourism and Travel Course, Junainah Justin also visited some interesting and historical places such as the former coal mine Chimney, Manikar Stone and the WWII Monument at Tanjung Taras. – SS (fl)
