Programme Info
Globalisation and international relations put an impact on the political and socio-economic development of nations. The process of nation-state building has become more complex given the need to balance national interest vis a vis the regional and international interests in a highly interdependent world. The International Relations Programme at UMS is designed to understand this dynamic relationship between countries and the present world order.
The programme offers a combination of theory and empirical analysis on the study of the historical development and contemporary state of international politics. Among the courses offered in this programme are: theories of international relations, international political economy, regional studies, security studies, human rights, international humanitarian law, conflict resolution, foreign policy, American studies and other current issues.
