Pusat Penyelidikan Perubatan dan Kesihatan Borneo

Pusat Penyelidikan Perubatan dan Kesihatan Borneo (BMHRC) ialah pusat penyelidikan yang baru ditubuhkan di Fakulti Perubatan dan Sains Kesihatan (FPSK), Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS).
Pusat penyelidikan ini digabungkan daripada dua unit penyelidikan iaitu Unit Penyelidikan Tuberkulosis (TBRU) dan Unit Penyelidikan Perubatan Desa (RMRU) yang memulakan perjalanannya pada Januari 2018.

Visi

Untuk menangani isu kesihatan tropika dalam pendekatan transdisiplin yang bekerjasama dengan organisasi kebangsaan dan antarabangsa. Misi kami juga ingin membina komuniti penyelidikan yang kuat, berbakat dan berdedikasi yang menerajui arena antarabangsa penyelidikan kesihatan

Untuk menjadi pusat penyelidikan terkemuka di Sabah yang diiktiraf di peringkat antarabangsa kerana penyelidikan yang cemerlang dalam penyakit endemik tropika, dan meningkatkan kesihatan manusia

Admission For Master

  1. Master Programme (By Research)
  2. Master Programme (By Coursework)
  3. Master Programme (By Mixed Mode)
  4. Master of Philosophy Programme

 Applicants should possess the following qualification:

 

Master Programme (By Research)

-          A Bachelors’s degree in related field with minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent from Universiti Malaysia Sabah or any other higher institution recognized by the Senate of Universiti Malaysia Sabah; or

-          A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not meeting CGPA 2.75, can be accepted subject to internal assessment approved by the Senate of Universiti Malaysia Sabah; or

-          A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in relevant field.

 

 

DURATION MASTER

Full-time : 2 – 6 semesters

Part-time : 4 – 8 semesters

 

 -          A Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent from Universiti Malaysia Sabah or any other higher institution recognized by the Senate of Universiti Malaysia Sabah; or

-          A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in relevant field; or

-          Applicants are subject to meet additional requirement specified by Faculties/Centre/Institutes.

 

DURATION MASTER

Full-time : 2 – 6 semesters

Part-time : 4 – 8 semesters

 -          A Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent from Universiti Malaysia Sabah or any other higher institution recognized by the Senate of Universiti Malaysia Sabah; or

-          A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not meeting CGPA of 2.75, can be accepted subject to internal assessment approved by the Senate of Universiti Malaysia Sabah; or

-          A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in relevant field.

 

DURATION MASTER

Full-time : 2 – 6 semesters

Part-time : 4 – 8 semesters

 -          A Bachelor’s degree with Honours with CGPA of 3.00 and above from Universiti Malaysia Sabah or any other institution of higher learning recognized by the Senate of Universiti Malaysia Sabah;

-          Master of Philosophy candidates may be admitted into a Doctor of Philosophy programme depending on a satisfactory study progress in the first year.

 

DURATION MASTER

Full-time : 2 – 6 semesters

Part-time : 4 – 8 semesters
