2.         Untuk makluman YBhg. Tan Sri/ Datuk Seri/ Datuk/ Prof./ Dr./ Tuan/ Puan, kerjasama serta hubungan di antara universiti dan masyarakat telah terjalin erat setelah sekian lama. Cadangan konsep pelaksanaan University for Society adalah berdasarkan “Redesign University Higher Education: University, Industry and Community Engagement”, dan juga Pelan Pembangunan Pendidikan Malaysia (PT) 2015-2025 di mana “Quadruple Helix Engagement Model” menjadi paksi utama kepada konsep University for Society.

3.         Sehubungan dengan itu, sesi webinar University For Society (U4S) siri 1 pada tahun 2021 secara maya akan diadakan pada ketetapan seperti berikut:

“Integrated Environmental R&D Approach Towards Sustainable Development”

The Faculty of Science and Natural Resources (FSSA) Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) is organizing the 14th Seminar on Science and Technology 2021 (S&T2021), which will be conducted as a fully Virtual Conference from 8th to 9th September 2021.

S&T2021 aims to be an excellent platform for knowledge exchange among academic researchers, sharing experiences and research findings specifically in Science and Technology fields. Prospective authors are invited to submit an extended abstract (2-4 pages including references) describing original work on all aspects of related fields.

All extended abstracts will be published in e-Proceedings of the Seminar on Science and Technology with e-ISSN No: 2735-2226.

Selected high-quality full papers will be published for publication in IOP conference proceeding series. Charge of publication is subjected to the publisher after acceptance.

Scope of fields:

Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished works on all aspects of science and technology. Topics include but not limited to:

1. Mathematics and Statistics

2. Environmental Sciences

3. Biodiversity and Natural Resources

4. Sustainable Forestry and Agriculture

5. Energy, Engineering and Technology

6. Health and Medical Sciences

7. Engineering and Technology

8. ICT and Computer Graphics

Notice of Extended Abstract Acceptance : 8th July 2021

Final Payment Deadline : 1st August 2021
