TUESDAY, 30 DECEMBER - Concern for the flood victims in Kelantan, Terengganu, Perak and Pahang, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) provides a few dedicated channels to the management and staff of the university, and also the public to give their contribution and assistance.
 

For example, Universiti Malaysia Sabah Housewives and Women’s Club (KESUMBA) has launched a relief fund, Tabung Bantuan Mangsa Banjir, for the purposes.
 

The fund is launched in hope to assist the flood victims who are now stationed at the evacuation centres temporarily while waiting for the tide to low. Hopefully, this fund will also ease and lighten the victims’ burden.
 

KESUMBA welcomes the support and assistance from the staffs to make this mission a success by donating money to CIMB KESUMBA account – 860 143 9537.

Meanwhile, a collecting centre was also opened for this purpose. Essential items for the victims can be drop-off at Exhibition Gallery, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FPSK), Lower Ground, FPSK Building UMS. -MA-
