The Borneo Marine Research Institute (IPMB) is offering cash prize of RM500 for their Logo Design Competition in conjunction with the Lobster Stock Community Improvement Project and Putatan Petagas River Awareness Campaign.
According to a statement released by the institute, the competition is open to all UMS community and the logo must be new and original.
The statement added that the logo must bear the green, orange, blue and white colours. Other factors are also considered such as attractiveness, clear, easy to understand and neat.
The second and third place winners will each receive cash prize of RM300 and RM200 respectively.

The community project organised by IPMB is in collaboration with the Putatan District Council and Petagas River Community in efforts to improve the stock of lobster and to improve the socio-economic of fishermen besides conserving the river. - SS (FL)
