Modern Agriculture Technologies Contributes to the Development of the Agriculture Sector: Sabah Chief Minister

hppns cmWEDNESDAY, 5TH NOVEMBER – Modern Agriculture Technologies are the products from continuous research, development and innovation which contributed to the development of the agriculture sector especially in Sabah.
 
Sabah Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Aman said, the products technologies and innovations can be beneficial to the farmers, breeders and fishermen. They are the person who always with high spirits and determined to make the agriculture field as their income.
 
“The Sabah Farmers, Breeders and Fishermen Day (HPPNS) 2014 celebration’s theme, ‘Agro-technology, Catalyst for Transformation’ is in accordance with today’s world. This carnival is a way in giving exposure the latest technologies in agriculture to them.”
 
“HPPNS celebration is another way to appreciate farmers’, breeders’ and fishermen’s’ efforts and contribution to the state,” he said during the opening ceremony at Faculty of Sustainable Agriculture, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) Sandakan Campus Branch recently.
 
Datuk Seri Panglima Musa was also presenting the High Achievers certificates to the winners in the HPPNS 2014 programme.
 
Also present during the opening ceremony were the Sabah Deputy Chief Minister cum Sabah Minister of Agriculture and Food Industries, Datuk Seri Panglima Yahya Hussin, Sabah Permanent Secretary of Agriculture and Food Industries, Datuk Ujang Sulani, Sabah State Secretary, Tan Sri Sukarti Wakiman and UMS Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Datuk Dr. Mohd.
