FRIDAY, 20^th MARCH - A total of 185 Faculty of Science and Natural Resources (FSSA), Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) participated in a Student Excellence Programme organized by the faculty. The programme was held at UMS Library Auditorium recently.

According to FSSA Deputy Dean of Academic and International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Bade, the programme was aimed to increase the students’ motivations, and for them to be competitive in facing test and challenges ahead. This is also a way for them to prepare for their employment in the future.

“These selected students, from fourteen programmes in FSSA, are exposed to various knowledge and experience in UMS efforts to produce students with high graduate employability rate when they graduated,” he said while representing FSSA Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Baba Musta during the officiating ceremony.

The one-day programme was conducted by a special invited speaker, Dr. Hajah Ananglangka Mad Kassim.

The speaker presented topics including talks on increasing academic performance.

FSSA Head of Programmes were also present in the programme to show their supports. –SS (JA)
