THURSDAY, 4 SEPTEMBER – The Press Information Officer to the Embassy of the United States of America based in Kuala Lumpur paid a courtesy visit to Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) yesterday.

Drake Weisert, who was accompanied by Senior Information Specialist, Yvonne Oh held a discussion with the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Heritage (FKSW), Prof. Dato’ Mohd. Hamdan Hj. Adnan; FKSW lecturer, Lai Che Ching @ Abdul Latif and FKSW Head of Programme for Communication, Norhuda Salleh.

The discussion among others included offers by the Embassy of the United States of America in providing training, exchange and sharing of expertise in the field of communication for staff and students of UMS.

They then visited the Corporate Relations Department, where Weisert was interviewed live at the campus radio station KKFM in their segment ‘Zon Kampus’ by DJs Nizz and Alvin M. Y. – FL
