📢 SECOND CALL FOR ABSTRACTS – IPoSCI 2026

🏆 TRAVEL GRANT AWARD FOR NON-UMS POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS

The Faculty of Computing and Informatics, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), invites

researchers, academicians, postgraduate students, and industry practitioners to participate

in the International Postgraduate Symposium on Computing and Informatics (IPoSCI 2026).

📅 November 12–13, 2026

📍 Federal Territory of Labuan, Malaysia

📄 Submit your 3–5-page extended abstract using the oMicial template.

🏆 TRAVEL GRANT AWARD FOR NON-UMS POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS

IPoSCI 2026 is pleased to oMer a limited number of Travel Grant Awards to support eligible

postgraduate students from higher education institutions in Malaysia other than UMS to

present their research at IPoSCI 2026.

Successful applicants may receive support covering ONE OR MORE of the following:

✈ Economy-class airfare or other public transportation costs

🏨 Accommodation expenses during the symposium period

🚕 Local transportation related to symposium participation

🎟 Symposium registration fees

🏅 Certificate of Travel Grant Award Recipient

Eligibility Criteria:

✅ Registered Master’s or PhD student at a recognized higher education institution in

Malaysia (excluding UMS students)

✅ Have at least one paper accepted for presentation at IPoSCI 2026

✅ Be the presenting author of the accepted paper

✅ Have completed IPoSCI 2026 registration

✅ Submit a complete Travel Grant application by September 15, 2026

🎤 Computing Research in 3 Minutes (CR3M) Competition

All accepted authors are required to present their research in the CR3M Competition.

📚 Publication Opportunities

Authors of accepted extended abstracts may choose one of the following publication

options:

✅ IPoSCI 2026 e-Proceedings

✅ AMICT IEEE Conference Proceedings, subject to the conference’s submission and

acceptance requirements

✅ International Journal on Machine Intelligence and Computing (IJMIC), subject to journal

peer review and acceptance
