Welcome all to an exciting talk co-organised by the Sociology and Social Anthropology program of the Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS).
 
Listen to Dr Sadia Choudhury Shimmi, a physiologist, and Dr Pauline Yong, a medical anthropologist, talk about how physiological anthropology, the study of human adaptability to the environment and its diversity, is important in solving real issues in the world today. They will also share examples from their current research.

This talk is a lead up to the 16th International Congress on Physiological Anthropology (ICPA) which will be held at the newly launched Galeri Azman Hashim on the beautiful campus of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) from 7-8 September 2023. The theme of the congress is "Environment and Human Health". Pre-congress workshops are available from 5 & 6 September 2023. Conference of Material and Energy Engineering for Sustainable Advancement 2023 (MEESA 2023) is organized by the Mechanical Engineering Program, Faculty of Engineering UMS and UMS Centre of Research in Energy and advanced Materials (CREAM) with an aim to enculturate research and kick-start a more collaborative involvement between the researchers from all over the world for the specified fields. 

 

This international conference will be the best platform for academics,  researchers and postgraduates from multidisciplinary research backgrounds together, to give opportunities to share their knowledge and build a better research network for long term collaboration opportunities with conference themed -  ‘Material and Energy Engineering for Sustainable Advancement”.
