
According to the Programme Director, Azrulnizam Abd Aziz, apart from the exhibition, the two-day programme also includes participants’ presentation on their business plan. All participants are UMSKAL undergraduate students.
“This carnival is aimed to give students exposure and knowledge on halal hub industries and Islamic economies business,” he said when met by the media after the opening ceremony.
He also added that the programme was also filled with sessions on Islamic economics and Labuan halal hub.
The opening ceremony was officiated by UMSKAL Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murnizam Haji Halik.
Also present during the ceremony was the Head of Student Affairs Division, Mas Adi Alimin. –SS
