Programme Info

Master in International Business is aimed at producing graduates who are well-versed in the theories and practices of International Business via providing comprehensive education and rigorous training capturing from a low level of concepts to a high level of synthesis, which in turn will produce balanced and skillful scholars in the area. The programme is available on part time and full time basis.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)

To nurture graduates who will contribute to the advancement of new knowledge/ value added knowledge.
To enhance theories in International Business to various areas of International Business.
To provide graduates (those who might not yet wish to embark on a doctoral programme or might require some preparation prior to reading for doctoral research in the future) with an opportunity for understanding the nature and potential of a research area.

Admission Requirements

A Bachelors’s degree in related field with minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent from Universiti Malaysia Sabah or any other higher institution recognized by the Senate of Universiti Malaysia Sabah; or

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not meeting CGPA 2.75, can be accepted subject to internal assessment approved by the Senate of Universiti Malaysia Sabah; or

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in relevant field.
