TUESDAY, 14 APRIL – The management of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) Labuan International Campus (KAL) always put priority to the welfare of its employees and ensuring that they would always be well taken care.UMSKAL Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murnizam Haji Halik said this step was a sign of appreciation and gratitude to the management and staff who were committed to carrying out the tasks entrusted to them.
However, he cautioned each employee not to be complacent with their daily tasks performed, but focus on quality and its impact to the local community instead.
“We must produce quality work that would give profound impact to the clients and local community,” he said.
He was speaking at a meeting with the Director of UMSKAL for Non-Academic staff 1/2015 at the Meeting Room Level 11, UMS Labuan Tower Building.
Also present were the Deputy Director, Associate Professor Dr. Geoffrey Harvey Tanakinjal and Senior Deputy Registrar, Mohamad Zamri Tuan and about 100 officers and non-academic staff. – SS (fl)
