Introduction

The DrPH programme is accredited by:

- Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA/FA11135)

Entry Requirements

i- The students’ admission requires Medical Doctor’s degree or medical qualification recognized by the Senate and the Malaysian Medical Council

          AND

ii- Degree in Master in Public Health (MPH) with a minimum CGPA of 3.2 or equivalent and accepted by the Senate of Universiti Malaysia Sabah or in line with the concurrent     regulations of the senate

          AND

iii- Must pass the English language proficiency level of either IELTS band 6.0 (Academic) or TOEFL 550

          OR

iv- Having graduated from University/Institution in which medium of instruction is English

          AND

v- International candidates must submit substantial evidence of financial status such as bank and sponsors’ guarantee letters and other relevant supporting documents to ensure that candidates are financially able to further their studies at UMS.
