On behalf of all our faculty, staff and students, welcome to the Faculty of Food Science and Nutrition.

 In carrying out its mission, the Faculty of Food Science and Nutrition (FSMP) is determined to produce competent and knowledgeable professionals in the field of food science, food service and nutrition. Our innovative academic programmes prepare our students to contribute to the global food industry, socioeconomic development of the nation and become leaders with the moral depth and intellectual.

At FSMP, we strive to provide our students with the necessary knowledge, skills and facilities to allow students to achieve their goals. In addition, we are committed to achieving international recognition through teaching and learning, research, publications and community services.

The faculty's academic programmes include undergraduate bachelor of Food Science and Nutrition degrees in Food Science and Nutrition, Food Technology and Bioprocessing and Food Service. We also offered a bachelor degree in Nutrition. The graduate-level programmes offered include Master of Food Safety and Quality (taught course), Master of Science (by research) and Doctor of Philosophy (by research).
